Dust 514 has already been released for PS3 as an open beta production. The official release of this game has yet to be announced. [Elder Scrolls Online is coming to PC]
Dust 514 is the first multi-game MMO in that it is actually connected to the Eve Online game. Players of Dust 514 can battle and collect resources on the actual planets found in Eve Online. How far CCP intends to push this new envelope of virtual reality is currently unknown. More information should be released at CCP FanFest 2013 during April 25-27.
Currently Dust 514 is only available for PS3 and can be found in the store for free. The reason this game was only released for PS3 because of the lack of compatibility issues.
Dust 514 is a ground breaking game, and is definitely the most fun free game for PS3 to date. Currently the game is in open Beta and the official release date is unknown. When and if the game is ever set to have an “official” release, this page will be one of the first to update and reflect the new information.
