The family of Michael Jackson has had several weeks to plan his final send off.  His funeral was scheduled at previous dates, but due to multiple reasons it was postponed.  One of those dates had been set for August 29th, but it was decided that the rememberance of this first day on earth, which that date was, should not to be remembered also as his last.

Jackson's funeral was nothing like the other "events" in the past since his death on June 25th.  There has been a variety of ceremonies in his memory ~ church memorial, public memorial at Staples, musician peers performing tributes that included those at the BET Awards, works of art, as well as artful renditions, Madonna in London, England where Jackson was to perform himself only a few weeks after his death, and many more celebrations and tributes in loving memory of the King of Pop.

Talented musician, Michael Jackson, left not only thousands of fans worldwide plus his musically talented peers, but many dear friends and relatives as well - his father and mother, his many siblings, nieces and nephews, and of course his children.

Talk of drugs, financial problems, custody battles and estate settlements are but a few of the many issues that have sufaced over the past nine weeks.  There is little doubt that the same if not new issues of concern could rise in the future.  At least Michael Jackson will not be the one to have to deal with any of it ~ his attorneys and family will ~ and his fans will keep abreast of each as it happens.
