There’s a place called The Four Corners, where the four states of Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico come together at one point on the ground. The Hartmans operate on a fully integrated business model for their turquoise jewelry business. That’s to say, they own the mines, they do the digs, they polish the stones, they craft the turquoise into stunning jewelry, and retail it to you—lucky customer—in their silver and turquoise jewelry gallery.
The gallery is a treasure trove of turquoise jewelry, from traditional Navajo designs to Southwest style contemporary pieces by local artists.
The turquoise is authentic. Bisbee, Morenci, Fox, Blue Gem, Number Eight, Royston, Royston Ribbon, and Spiderweb are among the high quality turquoise specimens from which the turquoise designs are made.

The Hartmans also do business in trade with Native American turquoise craftsmen. When not fashioning their own turquoise into their own designs, the Hartmans are trading with Navajo, Hopi, Zuni, and other Native American tribes for their best turquoise creations.
A visit to The Four Corners region of the beautiful Southwest would not be complete without a stop in Durango.

Stunning pieces. I'm from Oklahoma originally so I own a boatload of turquoise. You can take away all my other jewelry but you cannot have my turquoise. It's part of my heritage being part Cherokee.

Killer Jewelry! I have many of the Hartman's pieces and I intend on buying as many more as I can afford. They have great Turquoise. They also have wonderful gemstones from around the world. I love their Boulder Opal from Australia. You should do an article about that stuff.
I have been to Durango Silver Co in Durango, it is truely a site to see! This family is very serious about what they do. Mr. Hartman has been a Jewelery since he was a kid and he is elderly now. If anyone is going to Durango - don't miss this amazing place.
