Duran Duran's John Taylor plans appearance at Bass Guitar Show

Duran Duran announced on Feb. 1 on the band's official website that John Taylor will appear at the London Bass Guitar Show at the London Olympia on March 2.

The bassist plans to hit the show's main stage at 3 p.m. to talk about his autobiography, “In The Pleasure Groove: Love, Death and Duran Duran.”

The news comes as Duran Duran has ramped up its association with Manimal Vinyl. Taylor made a mix tape for Manimal last month, and a Duran Duran tribute album is in the works.

Rumored to be part of the album are Warpaint's version of "The Chauffeur," Halo Circus' take on "Do You Believe in Shame?" and Moby performing "Rio," among other Duran Duran classics.
