The shots of bass guitars and recording equipment were accompanied by the message: "First day back."
Duran has spent time on and off this year in the studio, working on music for the band's 14th studio album. Some of that time has been spent with producer Mark Ronson, and some in guitarist Dom Brown's studio.
Indeed, Brown tweeted last week that he was looking forward to being back in his studio this week.
While the album is expected out as soon as next spring after a winter in the studio, something Duranies probably won't be able to count on is a new music video featuring the band on the ski slopes.
When asked whether he has been tempted to film a video in the Alps, Le Bon rather humorously responded:
"I’ve been tempted, but it’s the rest of the band that’s the problem. Actually it’s not, it’s just Nick Rhodes. John Taylor skis in Beaver Creek, Roger Taylor has done a fair bit of skiing, and I’m up for anything. Maybe Nick could do the stuff in the silly jumper by the fire."
