The Duke Blue Devils were frustrated earlier in the season with a heartbreaking defeat to the Miami Hurricanes. However, on the evening of Mar. 3, 2013, the Blues Devils returned to their seat of dominance over the Canes' with a 76-79 victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC.
Ryan Kelly was the star of the night for the Blues Devils with a combined effort of 36 points, seven rebounds and an assist to lead his team to victory.
Miami guard Shane Larkin led his side with a valiant effort with 25 points, four assists and four rebounds. However, it was not enough this time as no one on the Hurricanes team could find an answer to Duke's Kelly.
Duke will have made a play to move at least up to second in the rankings next week. Miami are not likely to drop far but seventh or eighth looks like a likely place for the Canes'.
