Arkansas couple Jim Bob and MIchelle Duggar welcomed their first grandchild Thursday night. Mackynzie Renee Duggar was born at the home of her parents,Josh and Anna Duggar, with a mid-wife, doula and grandmother, Michelle, attending.
Josh, 20, the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle's children, married Anna September 26, 2008 at Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, Fla. The two met at a home-schooling conference.
Michelle is expecting her nineteenth child in the spring.
The birth of Mackynzie Duggar will be featured on a TLC 18 Kids and Counting special Tuesday, October 13, 2009: First Granddugger.

i love this family they are more then words.. im sooooo happy that josh an annas daughter has my birth day.. i have many of the same beliefes.. i look up to the duggar family as a major role model in my life!

Congratulations on a healthy baby! Home birth is not dangerous as long as baby and mom are healthy and have had good prenatal care, it's beautiful and less stressful.

Like the other folks on here I don't think we are being judgemental but I hope you guys only have a few not a troupe like his parents although I think the family is precious ..... Enough is enough Michelle is my age and I think your getting to old to be having Babies now .... this one hopefully will have no medical problems so STOP while the children are still healthy ......

congrats on your girl baby josh and anna. i was on the net and thought i would look you up we don't get your show for ages here in australia i'm addicted and my husband even likes it now. I can't stand all the bad things people say because each to his own god made us all i was lucky to have a great family who still support myself and my four children and you are all blessed good luck with further babies and your life god bless love to all
