Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 Expansion

The first expansion for Magic: The Gathering's Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 will launch on September 14th, and will feature a slew of new cards, decks, game modes, and spoilery treats for Magic: The Gathering players across PSN, XBLA, and Steam.  There’s even a new Izzet-style Planeswalker exclusive to DOTP known as Ral Zarek!

The price point will likely be 5-10 dollars if the expansion follows suit, and the package comes with a significant addition to gameplay alongside deck additions and other goodies – the ability to play as the Archenemy.

Archenemy mode rolled out with the original DOTP 2012, but did not allow players to actually wield the scheme cards and “one vs all” power of Archenemy mode.  This should add quite a spicy kick to multiplayer soirees!
