Ever since Pop Culture enthusiasts have learned that William and Kate have a royal baby on the way, there has been much speculation about everything from the due date, to the sex of the baby, to if she is having more than one, and of course the names. While it will be a bit before all of these questions can be answered, ABC News released one piece of news that fans of the royals have been anxiously awaiting: The due date.
In an article dated, Monday, Jan. 14, ABC news reported that the palace officials have confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge is due in July, sharing the same birth month as Princess Diana.
It also hasn’t been of any secret that the beginning of the pregnancy was especially difficult for the mom-to-be, as she was suffering from severe morning sickness. Palace officials assure that her health is improving. They also put to rest any rumors that the couple may be expecting twins. However, at this point, fans will have to keep guessing on whether they are having a boy or girl.
The royal baby will be third in line to the throne, and if they have a daughter, she will have the same rights as a son.
Bookmaker William Hill released possibilities on the possible name of their baby, and the favorites included George, Victoria and Diana, all at 10-1.
Any guesses on whether the Duchess and her husband are having a boy or girl? What do you think they should name him or her?
