Create this easy duct tape frame to bring life to your child’s bedroom, office, or gallery wall and bring new life to your cheap plastic or scratched wooded frames using colorful or patterned duct tape. Today duct tape is available in tons of fun patterns such a snake skin, zebra, cameo, hounds tooth, hearts, paint splatter and argyle that would make a fun statement on a photo frame. If you don't already have an extra photo frame cheap photo frames can easily be purchased at your local dollar store or at a garage sale.

  1. Find a photo frame that has a smooth frame as it will be easier to cover with duct tape.
  2. Place duct tape to cover the top and bottom part of the frame making sure to cover the edges. Slowly place the duct tape onto the frame to help prevent creases or air bubbles from forming. Using your scissors cut the tape to size.
  3. Next cover the sides of the frame with duct tape, again covering the sides and cutting the tape to give a clean edge.
