Guinness Book of World Records for “The most people wearing Groucho Marx glasses,” according to the Mayor's Office of Special Events.
Join the fun at Grant Park on Tuesday night, see a free movie on the giant outdoor screen and get a chance to be a part of the Guinness Book of World Records.
Sign in to receive your free glasses. People must wear the glasses for a total of 15 minutes and pose for a video and photo at about 8:15 pm.
Duck Soup is a classic Marx Brothers comedy that was released in 1933. The comedy stars Groucho Marx, Harpo Marx, Chico Marx and Zeppo Marx.
The Chicago Outdoor Film Festival takes place on Tuesday nights through August 25. The event offers free outdoor screenings of classic movie favorites as viewers relax on the lawn in Grant Park in Chicago.
Movies in the weeks following Duck Soup include: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Born Yesterday, Psycho, Young Mr. Lincoln and Tootsie.
