'Duck Dynasty' star Willie Roberts was honored to be at Super Bowl 2013

"Duck Dynasty” star, Willie Robertson, felt honored to represent Louisiana at Super Bowl 2013, according to a report by KNOE.com on Feb. 5, 2013. The Duck Commander CEO was a media ambassador for Louisiana at the event held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Sharing the honor with Willie Robertson was Troy Landry, a fan favorite from the hit show, “Swamp People,” on History Channel.

Willie says it was an honor for Louisiana to pick them to represent the state.

Robertson remarks that the two had a good time, and fans of both shows can probably imagine that they did! “Duck Dynasty” is carried on History Channel’s sister network, A & E, and both shows feature life in the Louisiana swamps. The Cajun lifestyle has caught the attention of America by storm, partly due to the unique sense of independence that they embody.

According to KNOE.com, when the lights went out during the game for around a half an hour, someone teasingly asked Willie Robertson, “What did Si do?” Willie recounted that the stadium was not as dark as it looked on television.

Have you heard the new "Duck Dynasty Song" by Amanda Ryan?

Did you know that Sadie Robertson finally got her driver's license?
