Everyone in the nation remembers the controversy that swirled around Duck Dynasty’s patriarch and star Phil Robertson during December of last year. For standing up for his religious beliefs in an interview, he was literally dragged through the mud by the mainstream media and gay and civil rights groups. True to his character he stood by his faith and Christians like Brian Richards were impressed.

In fact Richards was so impressed by this man who is moved by the words and the spirit of God that he drove hundreds of miles and 20 hours to do something wonderfully remarkable. The New Jersey man, according to the Blaze made the journey to meet the Duck Dynasty star in order to have him baptize him!

Full in the spirit of his faith he arrived at the Ferry Road Church of Christ located in West Monroe, Louisiana where Robertson met with him and then introduced the young man to the congregation and even joking, From New Jersey, “I can count on one hand the people I met from New Jersey,” reported the Blaze.

Soon Robertson joined Richards in the baptismal pool and pronounced, “You’re going to be buried — the old you — and the new one will come forth. God will seal you with his spirit and you will be guaranteed to be raised from the dead one day and live forever. Good news, you know?according to the Blaze.

he story of Robertson’s display of Christian faith as an elder in the church has made the rounds in the social media which unlike Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton, who have never been known to have baptized a single soul, the Duck Dynasty star acts on his faith.
