“Duck Dynasty's” Jase Robertson felt like he was a victim of “facial profiling” when he was escorted out of a posh New York hotel after he asked a staff member where the restroom was located. According to USA Today on Aug 15, the employee walked him out of the hotel and pointed down the street and very nicely wished him “good luck.”
The entire “Duck Dynasty” family was in New York promoting the season premiere of the show and apparently they didn't fit in, or at least not in this staff member's eyes. Wednesday night's premiere drew 12 million viewers, which was record breaking not only for “Duck Dynasty,” but for any “non-fiction series on TV,” according to “Fox and Friends” live on Friday morning.
Apparently these "Duck" guys, who even beat out the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian's” show's record, haven't reached that point where they're recognized like the numerous members of the Kardashian clan.
Robertson wasn't the least bit indignant over the encounter with the staff member, he actually sounded very understanding that was he told the bathroom for him was around the block. He shared his story while on “Live with Kelly & Michael.” Being considered an "undesirable" didn't seem to faze the good natured Jase, but he seems to enjoy sharing the story!
