‘Duck Dynasty’ season 3: Exclusive interview with Mountain Man

Duck Dynasty’ is unstoppable on the ratings chart. As the show continues, the popularity continues to skyrocket. The season 2 finale reached an all-time high on A&E, and season 3 is projected to take the duck crew to a higher level yet again.

Perhaps it’s the positive energy, the real down home personalities, the clean humor, or a combination of everything, but these guys simply make viewers ‘happy, happy, happy,’ as Phil Robertson would say.

One of the favorite cast members of duckaholics is of course Mountain Man. Besides the Robertson family and the Duck Commander workers, he is the only regularly appearing cast member on the hit show. As humble and as genuine as he is on TV, Mountain Man gives all the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for where he is today. He is thankful for the experience, and is continuing to enjoy the ride.

“The good Lord has been good to me,” Mountain Man said in our exclusive interview.

So what has Willie Robertson’s top-notch air conditioner repairman been up to these days?

“On Monday and Tuesday, I was just part of a St. Jude’s fundraiser. We were able to raise around $125,000 in 2 days. It was a big honor, and I plan on getting more involved with them. It is always for a great cause. Anytime you go into St. Jude’s hospital it’ll change your life,” shared Mountain Man.

“I am also about to fly out to Birmingham, Alabama. We have a 3-day event there,” he continued.

Aside from staying busy with worthy causes and being a positive messenger, he has been involved in the season 3 taping, of course.

Though he obviously cannot reveal too much about what we can expect come February 27 when season 3 begins, he was kind enough to offer some fun hints.

“I think they will put me on more,” said Mountain Man.

“Willie has some kind of a surprise for me,” he continued.

In regards to the overall content and tone of the show, Mountain Man wanted to assure us that he and the guys will continue to keep things entertaining, and respectable.

“You can look for more of the same. No cussing, no suggestive material. Just a good redneck show that all the family can watch. We are going to keep it that way. We hope that we can be a good example to other TV shows,” he said emphatically.

As always, we can expect laughs, adventures, and yes….surprises of course.

No two episodes of ‘Duck Dynasty’ are the same, but the one thing that does remain the same, is it’s consistency of quality entertainment.

Anytime I talk to Mountain Man, I not only share in some good laughter with him, but I also feel uplifted and inspired, as you won’t find anyone with a bigger heart. He’s the real deal, as is the rest of the cast.

The question is what are the specifics of the season 3 episodes? Well, except for some online sneak peeks, it looks as though we will have to wait on additional details. Mark your calendars for February 27 as you will not want to miss what the bearded men in camo have planned for us next!
