During season 2 of ‘Duck Dynasty,’ the Robertson family attracted impressive ratings. Episode 1 of season 3 which aired on Wednesday, February 27, met and exceeded expectations once again.
In an article dated, Thursday, February 28, The Hollywood Reporter shared that the A&E series had an astounding 8.6 million viewers watching the duck commander and his crew on Wednesday night.
The humble bearded millionaire family which made their fortune through top-notch duck calls has proven themselves to be some of the best entertainment on all of television. ‘Duck Dynasty’ has become A&E’s top rated show ever, causing a 132% increase from its sophomore debut. The series topped all broadcast networks except CBS’ CSI in total viewers, and its scores in the demo were equally commendable.
In all areas that are measured for ratings, this hit show won the contest as the network’s biggest telecast ever and as the top cable outing of the evening.
In a recent exclusive interview, ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Mountain Man shared that the show would continue to bring the same good, clean, family fun that viewers have enjoyed in the past. He was right, and episode one of season 3 has already proven it with highly impressive ratings.
