‘Duck Dynasty’ season 4 has brought us Phil and Kay’s vow renewal, Martin’s big date, and Godwin’s hot tub, among other humorous happenings. On Wednesday, September 4, the laughs continued as viewers tuned in for more adventures with the quick-witted bearded men.
Jase and Missy are updating their kitchen which leaves them without any electricity, water, or food. What’s that mean for Willie? Jase and the kids are moving in while Missy is out of town.
Meanwhile, the warehouse crew is working hard….or is it hardly working? They are having a full-blown day of redneck challenges.
Within five minutes of living with Jase, Willie is already annoyed. His leaching brother is not only sitting in his chair, but he ruined the game that he was taping. As Willie sits on a different piece of furniture his butt gets wet. He continues to complain about Jase ruining the game, while Jase defends you can’t get the same kind of connection with something that has already happened. They argue about the concept of taping live TV.
The irritation of course doesn’t end there. Jase wakes up at 4 am to cook breakfast in their kitchen. Willie is none too pleased to see him cooking his steak.
The redneck challenge continues at the batting cage.
As his fellow employees are being intensely competitive, Jase is more focused on being a chef. Not surprisingly, his cooking causes Willie and Korie’s house to stink. He has plans with smelly fish, and the beaver in the sink. Willie and Korie of course aren’t thrilled with the condition of their home. They go into the bathroom to find their tub full of crawfish.
Meanwhile, Jep challenges Phil to an Indian leg wrestling competition. Phil says when you reach a certain age and you just get past the redneck challenges. He insists that the only person he wrestles with now is Miss Kay. However, the patriarch is coaxed into competing for a dollar bet.
Willie officially confronts his brother and lets him know that things aren’t “working out.” As he goes through his list of complaints, Jase apologizes, but stands by the fact that “it was a beautiful beaver.”
Later Willie finds his kitchen in a complete disaster once again. Everything is filthy and undone. He decides he’s had it, and that Jase has reached strike 3…..thousand. He is however surprised to find that not only is Missy back, but that Chef Jase has planned a scrumptious meal to bury the hatchet.
The two brothers wake up and Willie even tries to give Jase a hug, which he isn’t too accepting of.
“If I would’ve known Jase was gonna run away from a hug I would’ve used that all weekend,” says Willie.
Despite all the mess and trouble Jase caused, the family is able to enjoy a delicious crawfish dinner at the end.
