It looks like the stars of “Duck Dynasty” are expanding their merchandise line for the new year. According to CNN on Jan. 2, the Robertson family will have their own line of guns set to launch very soon.
The reality stars have teamed up with the gunmaker Mossberg to sell Duck Commander firearms that come in a camouflage design and feature the official ‘duck in flight’ logo of the company that patriarch Phil Robertson started 40 years ago. They will also be sold with a bandana featuring an American flag design that is just like the one that Willie Robertson wears most of the time, on and off the show.
Phil Robertson, along with his boys, is also in the video ads promoting their line of guns on the Mossberg web site. The elder Robertson can be heard saying, "Do you know what makes me happy ladies and gentlemen? To blow a mallard drake's head smooth off." This comment will most likely cause more controversy for him. However, that is part of duck hunting for these guys.
Supposedly, the guns have already been shipped to a few retailers. However, the stores are not being named just yet.
