On the March 6 episode of "Duck Dynasty," entitled, "Shot Through the Heart," everyone was quite concerned about John Luke Robertson. Willie and Korie's son had broken up with his girlfriend, Emily. The truth of the matter is that according to the Ouachita Christian School website, John Luke Robertson and his sister, Sadie Robertson, are both quite popular high school students.
According to the September 2012 school newsletter, @OCS, which is available on the website, Sadie Robertson was the 2012 freshman candidate for Homecoming Queen, and John Luke is the president of the sophomore class. Their cousin Reed, Jase and Missy Robertson’s son, was one of the art students whose work was featured in the regional art competition, according to the January edition of the @OCS.
The entire Robertson clan went into therapy mode trying to help John Luke deal with the break-up, although he kept reassuring the family that he was surely fine. It was kind of sweet to see his Uncle Si Robertson try to help John Luke, and it was in doing so that Uncle Si did admit for the first time on the program that he was married. Si Robertson has been married for 43 years!
Well, everyone can rest easy about John Luke Robertson and his girl, Emily. They made up before the episode was even over, and they did it over one of those cell phones that Papaw Phil Robertson hates so much.
