“Duck Dynasty” guns are coming to store near fans very soon, according to Jan. 2 CNN report. Gunmaker Mossberg has teamed up “Ducky Dynasty” company Duck Commander to launch nine different shotguns, two semiautomatic rifles and a semiautomatic pistol. Spokeswoman Linda Powell noted that Mossberg has already shipped some of the shotguns to distributors.
According to NBC News, the guns will all feature a camouflage pattern, as well as the Duck Commander logo, and will include an American flag bandana. “The long-term agreement with the Robertson family and the hugely popular Duck Commander franchise includes a focus on the family's passion of waterfowl hunting, promotion of the shooting sports and family values as well as a series of Mossberg 'Duck Commander' firearms,” Mossberg said in a press release.
As the Examiner previously reported, “Ducky Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson has been reinstated has his suspension by A&E for controversial comments the star made to GQ magazine. In their decision to allow Robertson back on the show, A&E explained that the hit reality show “is not a show about one man's views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family...a family that America has come to love.”
