'Duck Dynasty' Feb. 5 review: This episode returns to what worked before

"Duck Dynasty" seemed a bit more familiar in the Feb. 5 episode. The dynamic of the earlier seasons returned, and some of the original humor could be detected. There were actually a few spots where viewers might laugh out loud like in the good ole' days of "Duck Dynasty." Deadline Hollywood reported recently that "Duck Dynasty" ratings have fallen this season.

As each season has gotten farther and farther from reality, the latest episode continued that trend. It did, however, return to the formula that worked for them. The sibling rivalry between Willie and Jase was amped up, and that reminded viewers why they loved the show to begin with.

Si Robertson was allowed to be Si in this episode, and that was indeed a big part of the fun. Not forced into the ridiculous scripts created for him in many of last season's episodes, he could shine with his own natural sense of humor which is truly unique.

Welcome back, "Duck Dynasty," we missed you.
