NBC reported that Mehgan Cook and Charlie Miller considered rescheduling their nuptials when they heard that Robertson would appear at a nearby Field & Stream store in their native Cranberry, PA.
But they decided to move their wedding to that store hoping to see Robertson.
Not only did they see Robertson, but the star surprised the happy couple when he congratulated them after they exchanged vows. To reflect their love for the show, Cook wore white with a bold camo slash while Miller wore a camo T-shirt and orange headgear.
"That’s a first for me," Robertson said. "It’s good to be a part of that. They look like my kind of folks with the camouflage."
The Pine-Richland Patch reported that Miller likened the surprise to being awakened as a child on Christmas morning.
Robertson, who has been married 20 years, even gave his fans advice for their new marriage.
“Love each, forgive each other,” he said. “Watch my show from the other night when my mom and dad got remarried. That should give you all the basics you need to know.”
The star’s parents recently renewed their marriage vows on Dynasty, which airs on A&E.
