"Duck Dynasty" has announced that Amanda Ryan has recorded a new song entitled, "The Duck Dynasty Song." Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, they announced on the Duck Dynasty by A & E Facebook page that fans can now download the song from iTunes. It is also available on Amazon for those who do not have Apple products.
The Duck Dynasty by A & E Facebook page had previously posted the raw video performance of the song by Amanda Ryan on Wednesday. You can still listen to that on their page. You will immediately notice that Amanda Ryan is sporting camouflage and a headband in true "Duck Dynasty" style.
It is clear whether the song is being featured on the site as a potential replacement for the show’s theme song. From the Facebook comments, it appears that some people do not want to lose the ZZ Top song that currently serves as the theme song. “The Duck Dynasty Song” has a more mellow, country sound that the hard rocking “Sharp Dressed Man.”
The new season of “Duck Dynasty” returns February 27 at 9 p.m. and fans are ready. Judging from the massive posts on Twitter by people watching and re-watching the episodes from this season, the ratings on the new shows should be off the chart.
