Duck Derby and Easter egg hunt at Lake Gregory

The 2014 Rubber Duck Derby and Easter Egg Hunt is coming to Lake Gregory this Saturday, April 19th. The gates open to the public at 10:00am, followed by an 11:30 Egg Hunt, then a 1:00pm Rubber Duck Race. Toy rubber ducks will be released, and the first three ducks across the finish line win cash prizes.

This free event includes a host of local vendors selling food and handmade crafts, an Easter egg hunt for children 12 and under, followed by the Rubber Duck Derby. You can adopt your Duck by purchasing a ticket via Paypal on our website at, in person at the Chamber Office, Goodwin’s Market, the Crestline Boys and Girls Club, and Billy Bears Restaurant in Crestline.

The first three Ducks to cross the finish line receive $1000, $500 or $250. And 100% of the $5 adoption fee goes towards funding other annual events, including monthly trout Fishing Derbies, Wine & Stein walk through the Pines, Jamboree Days Parade walk and Fireworks show over Lake Gregory over the Independence Day weekend, and the Christmas Bonfire.
