Duchess of Cambridge, Katherine could be seen when she boarded the royal barge the Spirit of Chartwell at the Cadogan Pier in London on Sunday. The festivities of the day required the entire royal family to take part, but many in the media were surprised at the choice of the Duchess as her dress was bright red for the Diamond Jubilee ceremony.
Wearing a very popular Alexander McQueen dress that has been seen by other celebrities before before, the gown looked stunning. A bright cherry red garment that was sleek and stunning, the Duchess of Cambridge could be seen floating along the Thames River. The Alexander McQueen's gown is from the autumn 2011 collection and was matched up with the red hat and a same colored clasp.
The UK is celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of a monarch. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II celebrates the 60th anniversary of her ascension to the throne. Watching 1,000 boats float down the river in a River Pageant, the river boat pageant hasn’t happened in this fashion for 350 years.
