Hello doves! Atlanta fans of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge visited young art students at two schools in Oxford, who are using facilities by charity The Art Room, who she is a patron of.
A History of Art graduate herself, the princess, a.k.a. Kate Middleton, whose studies took her to Italy, visited the Rose Hill Primary School and Oxford Spires Academy on February 21, 2012, for her first public engagement as a new royal patron of The Art Room, a charity that uses art therapy to aid youngsters with issues such as low self-esteem and Asperger's syndrome and encourages confidence in disadvantaged children.
Word has it that the beige and brown doves motif coatdress by London-based Irish designer Orla Kiely that the Duchess of Cambridge wore is already sold out! She accessorized with dark brown hose and rather sexy looking belted suede taupe brown ankle boots, carrying bouquets which Union Jack waving children gave her.
The 30-year-old Catherine enjoyed a school luncheon of sandwiches, potato chips and fruit at their The Art Room facilities, later partaking in a round-table discussion about the training of staff at the center.
The young royal then met with several students and joined them as they created artwork, including young Jaydn Proffitt, aged 7, who attends Rose Hill Primary. Enjoy the slide show of the Duchess of Cambridge at both schools.
