The Duchess of Cambridge has intense fashion powers. Within hours of wearing a particular design, the item sells out.
Such was the case when the Duchess selected a black lace and nude short Tulip Dress by Zara to attend a charity concernt on Tuesday.
The look was really nothing special, but loyal and royal watchers scooped up the design in every size leaving shopping carts empty. The design retailed for $110 which made it accessible to the average customer.
The dress featured a bateau neckline with a sheer blace lace fabric over nude. The look was very short compared to other designs we have seen Kate wear after the royal wedding. She paired her look with a cropped black jacket, suede pumps, black belt and a hard case clutch.
This is an easy look to duplicate. Similar looks can be found at BCBG, Valentino and Prada, Alice + Olivia and Topshop. Instead of a blazer try adding a vintage brooch, cashmere wrap or mini cape. In other words, make the look more personal by adding your own signature style.
