Duchess Kate has been wearing many familiar outfits during her New Zealand and Australia tour. Although the Queen wanted her to change her style a bit, Kate manages to look regal in her recycled clothes.
Christian Post reports April 14 that crowds are glad to see the Duchess wearing familiar fashions. She pulls off looking stylish and trendy without coming off like she has to spend a fortune.
Prince William and Kate Middleton attended an engagement Monday in which Kate wore a recycled scarlet Juisa Spagnoli skirt suit. It was similar to one she wore in 2011. On Palm Sunday in Dunedin, Kate donned an Emilia Wickstead aquamarine coat dress. That one resembled a pink dress from last year.
People had a report on the dress Kate wore Sunday that had a new flavor to it. She wore a dress that had a "Kiwi connection." The designer was Wickstead, who also created one of Kate's famous maternity dresses.
"She is making everybody want to dress up a little bit more even if you are a young girl ... And I think that's great and really exciting. I'm a true believer in dressing up and making an effort," Wickstead told People magazine a while back.
The Duchess' recycled looks are popular among the people since it's an extension of who she is...a very real person who's a part of the royal family. She comes off as conscientious about not making a new outfit a new priority each and every day.
Duchess Kate's familiar looks are a winner among the people. She's been a star in New Zealand and will continue to be in Australia.
