As PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 controllers have been seen on shelves at retailers, we await the system's release. Of course we want to put the controller to use and test it out. Those who have picked it up are doing just that.
NeoGaf user, Canis lupus, has posted that the PlayStation 4's DualShock 4 controller works on the Xbox 360. In the video posted with the thread, YouTube user, RageBeefSA, is seen playing Marvel vs Capcom using the DS4. The video can be seen to the left of this post.
In testing it out ourselves, it would not work with either the slim or standard Xbox 360. RageBeefSA stated in his video description that the DualShock 4 is shown "working on an Xbox 360 through a combination of JoyToKey, a Cronus Device, and Cronus Bullseye software."
So, if anyone wants to give the DS4 a test run on the Xbox 360, the software is needed to do so. We were hoping it would be a sneaky plug-in-and-play. It seems more trouble than it is worth, to be honest. Although, most would rather see Xbox 360 controllers working on the PlayStation 4 instead.
The controllers have no street date and can be found at local retailers, as long as they have received their shipments in. The PlayStation 4 Camera is also hitting shelves and have been spotted already.
