Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across the area tonight as the low moves across the state.

On Saturday, the low will move to our southeast, and high pressure will begin to build across the region. Residual moisture and some cooler air aloft will support a couple of showers here and there, but many areas will see a rain free day.

Skies will clear Saturday night, with partly sunny skies expected on Sunday.

There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Sunday night, but a better chance of storms will come Monday as a warm front lifts northward across our area.

Low pressure will move into the Great Lakes Tuesday and Wednesday. This will keep the threat of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. There will also be the potential for severe weather during this period.

It will be very warm and humid through mid week.
