Things got pretty cold at SeaWorld's water park Aquatica this past weekend for the Polar Plunge, but you can get all warm and toasty any time you visit by using the giant whole-body dryers. For $3, the contraption above bathes you in hot air, much like a jumbo-sized hand dryer.
Of course, you don't have to worry too much about being cold at Aquatica at any time of year, as long as you're in the water, since most of the park's attractions are heated. It's just that time between water slides or moving between the pools and rivers that the goosebumps break out.
Aquatica is a great spot to spend a full day, and the winter months in Florida typically mean short lines. If you plan to spend all day, you might want to invest in the all-day dining band that lets you grab food, snacks, and drinks at the buffet restaurant.
Also, take some time to explore the park in a leisurely fashion. Besides the rides and the water-based attractions, Aquatica has some animals on hand to greet visitors. The most famous animal residents are the Commerson's dolphins at the Dolphin Plunge slide, but you'll also find colorful macaws and other creatures.
The park is open all year 'round, so choose a warm day and head out for winter water fun (and bring some dollars for the dryer if you want to try it out).
