Whew! What a soaker of a day! As of the 5pm climate report over an inch and a half of rain(1.57") had fallen at Philly International Airport; there were flood warnings most of the day and will continue overnight as the rivers and streams are still swollen.
Overnight we'll have rain early, but then clearing with lows in the middle 50s; this will lead to Saturday featuring sunshine and then fair weather cumulus in the afternoon once we reach our convective temperature(the approximate temperature the surface must warm to in order for clouds to develop) as a through pushes through. Highs will be in the lower 70s with a westerly wind.
Overnight Saturday it will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s and Sunday will feature more clouds with a short wave pushing through as highs will be around 70. Monday will be around 70 again with a few clouds and Tuesday's a bit milder as a warm front approaches from the west.
It's not until Wednesday as we get into that warm and humid air again with showers and thunderstorms as a cold front pushes through by Thursday; highs will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s.
