According to Monday's WCBD News, an intoxicated man is accused of sexually assaulting a family's dog in Socastee, S.C.
Police in Horry County arrested 34-year-old Lorenzo Calles shortly after receiving a call from the dog's owner on Sunday night.
According to the police report, it was cries from the molested dog that alerted the family.
The police stated:
They heard one of their dogs whimpering as if it was hurt outside their residence,"
"They went outside to investigate, and they observed the suspect having vaginal intercourse with their youngest female blue nose pitbull."
Calles was already gone when police arrived, but they found him a couple of hours later at his home. According to the report:
Suspect had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage and was very unsteady on his feet,"
Suspect's roommates tried to ask suspect in Spanish his side of the incident for (police) but suspect only shrugged when questioned and gave no statement.
Calles is facing charges of sodomy and buggery (a term which encompasses both bestiality and sodomy).
No word on the condition of the dog who was sexually assaulted.
