Dropbox for OS X hits 2.0 with new interface and sharing features

Dropbox for OS X received a facelift yesterday bringing it to version 2.0. Dropbox, the file sharing cloud service, has seen several updates since it's been released. The new Dropbox interface is the most intuitive and easily accessible update yet.

With a brand new interface, the Dropbox menu brings everything the service offers to one place, your desktop. Now you can accept and decline invitations for shared folders, links, or albums from others directly within the drop down menu. Also, you can share links straight from the menu by simply hovering your cursor over the file you wish to share and the option appears. The new interface also makes it easier to keep a tab on your most recently changed or updated files within your Dropbox at a glance.

Along with these features you now will receive real-time notifications as well. Now you can get access to new files shared with you immediately or later simply by clicking the Dropbox icon on your desktop. Dropbox also recently released this notification feature to the iOS and other mobile platforms as well making it easy to keep track of your files anywhere.
