DRONE KILLINGS, THE BIBLE AND LAST DAYS CHRISTIANS?
Rand Paul is filibustering the Brennan nomination. It has been nicknamed the filiblizzard. Finally someone has decided to do all they can to stop the seeming juggernaut legal movement to be able to kill Americans by drones in this country, regardless if they are doing anything criminal at the moment. The could be sitting at a resturant, probably among Tea Partiers. The senator from Kentucky got an assist from his friends, as Senators Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, Mike Lee, Republican of Utah and I hear Marco Rubio, joined him on the Senate floor to help with the effort.
This is not the first time I have written about drone killing of Americans. It is important to Christians, I figure, inparticularly because of prophecy. Of course, it should be important to all.
I found it very interesting when as a religion writer for examiner, my article about drone killings was removed for not being about the subject of religion. At least that is what they thought. So that there is no misunderstanding I am rewriting the article to make the nature of it clearer. Never mind that neither I nor God thinks Scripture is religion, the world does. God declares it as truth which includes prophecy, which is history prewritten before it happens. Let’s look at what Jesus answered his disciples when he was asked about the last days of man’s rule on earth. Matthew 24th Chapter:
3 And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying; tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Greek aion, end of the age)
To Summarize Yeshua’s (Jesus’’) answer; in verse 4. He warned of false teachings about himself. Verses 6 and 7; wars and rumors of wars; famines and pestilences but this will not be the end. There would be the rise and fall of kingdoms that actually took hundreds of years, with increasing earthquakes. Verse 8 shows this was just the start of worse things on earth. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
This is the same order of events that are in the 7 seals of revelation. As in verse 9 here in Matthew, so is the 5th seal in the Book of Revelation. Together they show that just as there was an inquisition during this rise and fall of kingdoms, there would be a FINAL persecution of Christians that will be worse than anything that have ever happen in history. It is described in scripture as a time of trouble like never was and never shall be again. Many Christians deceived, falsely teaches a pre-tribulation rapture; where they will be in heaven when this takes place. This is IMPOSSIBLE from a scriptural point of view as I show in detail in another article. The persecuted Christians described under the 5th seal asks a question and are answered in Revelation the 6th chapter, verses;
9 ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
And this last persecution will be fulfilled and after that God will pour his wrath on the world for what the world will have done to us. This is shown in Matthew, Revelation and all the prophets that spoke about it. It will happen in this order. 1. Great tribulation on God’s people 2. The heavenly signs as seen Joel 2:31 with Matthew 24 and also in the 6th seal of Revelation 3. Then the WRATH of God, called the day of the LORD in which he punished the world for what was done to Christians. This Day is mentioned as about to happen when the 6th seal is opened. Pre-tribulation preachers have gotten the cart before the horse, when it has always be very clearly written making their theory impossible. Question: If you teach that Antichrist and all the bad stuff cannot happen until you are in heaven and you are wrong, can you recognize it when it comes as long as you believe it that doctrine? The answer is no. You will end up being one of the persecutors thinking they do God a service. It is that important!
