Driving chihuahua hits another car

A Spokane woman says a small dog drove into her car while she was stopped at a red light.

That's right, chihuahua theft auto. Earlier this month Tabitha Ormaechea from Washington found herself in a unique situation when a car seemed to drive in her by it self. But a second glance reveals the 4 legged road rager.

Ormaechea told KREM-TV that she didn't see anyone in the car. She was shocked to discover a chihuahua at the wheel.

"Just a little dog up on the steering wheel peeking over, looking at me." she said, "I didn't know if I was crazy, or if this little dog had taken a joyride."

The dog's name is Toby, and his owner Jason Martinez left him in the car to go into a store for just few minutes. Next thing he knew, Toby was taking the car for a spin.

Martinez thinks Toby accidentally knocked the car into neutral and then held on for life.

KREM-TV reports that no one was hurt and there was minimal damage. There has been no mention of legal action.
