Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed a few details in regards to E3 2014. According to a report from Just Push Start on May 9, the publisher behind "Drive Club," "The Last Guardian" and other games will be holding a press conference on June 9. Similar to the recent media briefings held during Electronic Entertainment Expo, the event will be occurring during early evening with a scheduled start time of 6 p.m. PST.
Although Sony Computer Entertainment have been holding annual press conference at E3, last year's event was arguably the most important. Along with big reveals on several video games, the company also confirmed that the PS4 won't come with any used game restrictions. Furthermore, the $399.99 price tag was announced for North America, undercutting the Xbox One by $100. Due to these factors, the PS4 went on to set numerous sales records for a home console with more than seven million units around the world since launching on Nov. 15 in 2013.
For this year, Sony Computer Entertainment should provide more in-depth look at upcoming 2014 games such as "Drive Club" and "The Order 1886." According to Gamepur, a recent rumor also hinted that "The Last Guardian" would re-appeared from the shadows as a PS4 game. Finally, the company should talk more about "Project Morpheus," a virtual reality headset in development for the next-generation system.
E3 2014 would be the second time "Drive Club" would be appearing at the event. The racing game was supposed to be a launch game for the PS4 but got delayed until Oct. 8 on this year in North America. In addition to the full game, Playstation Plus members can also try out a stripped down version of the software product at no additional costs. If they like the title, the subscribers can also pay $49.99 to purchase the full game. A screen from the "Drive Club" Facebook page can be seen near the top of this article.
