Drink hot lemon tea for sinus allergy conditions


Add lemon to hot tea to reduce sinus infection

Drinking hot lemon tea when first waking up and before getting out of bed helps to clear the sinuses of mucous and bacteria so that the body can be prepared to handle stress and the hassles of the day. Black, green or herbal tea when mixed with fresh lemon helps to prevent sinus allergy conditions and eliminate morning coughing and sneezing. Adding a slice or two of fresh lemon to tea helps to keep sinus infection at bay and hastens the healing process.

To flush mucous and bacteria from the body, many doctors suggest drinking hot lemon tea continually throughout the day until the urine runs clear. So, keep hot lemon tea handy. The more you drink the more the sinuses will remain healthy. Slice one or two fresh lemons and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For a continuous supply of hot water, use an electric thermo pot. Prepare a tea tray in advance to use throughout the day. Include a cup and saucer, spoon, napkin and sweetener (if desired).

For a wake-up cup of hot lemon tea, each evening before going to bed place the lemon slices on ice and set the container along with the prepared tea tray on a night stand or dresser. Plug in the water-filled electric thermo pot as you get ready for bed.
