Drier weather for the rest of the workweek in Clarksville

After an icy day yesterday, most of the precipitation has moved to the east of the Clarksville area. Skies will remain mostly cloudy today as this system remains close to the area, with temperatures near average in the lower forties. Partly sunny skies are expected to continue through the day Thursday and then the sun will come out Friday and temperatures will respond. Temperatures will once again be in the fifties by the beginning of the weekend. A dry cool front will move through the region Sunday bringing colder air, but no precipitation as temperatures for Sunday and the beginning of the upcoming workweek will be back in the upper thirties.
