Drexel wins third straight with 68-57 victory over Georgia State

The Drexel Dragons (8-11, 4-3 CAA) may be starting to find their groove as they won their third straight game with a 68-57 victory over the Georgia State Panthers on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Damion Lee finished with 20 points, 18 of which came in the second half, and Frantz Massenat had 15 points and eight assists.

Senior Derrick Thomas, who has been a regular starter for Bruiser Flint, came off the bench to score 14 points and showed a lot of aggresiveness on the offensive end of the floor.

Drexel started slow but really started to get things going toward the end of the first half. In the second half, with Lee on fire, the Dragons seemed to be playing "Bruiser Flint Drexel basketball" with playing great defense and getting solid ball movement and good looks on offense.

The Dragons now have a winning record in conference play and will look to win their fourth straight on Monday night when they host their rivals, the Delaware Blue Hens.
