Apparently it wouldn’t be wise to get Drew Carey started on how he feels about the 84th Annual Academy Awards. The host of the Price is Right had choice words all weekend about the award show and he shared his rants online with his followers on Twitter. Starting his focus of anti-Oscars on Saturday, the fans got an eyeful of what he thinks about the award show.
“Good luck at #Oscars tomorrow! I hope your favorite white millionaire gets a trophy for doing their job,” wrote Drew Carey on his Twitter account. He followed this up by sharing with a fan that he is happy as long as “our most popular, privileged citizens finally get their trophy.”
While Drew Carey’s Twitter is usually funny, he ended his rants on Saturday after explaining himself and his distaste for the award show. Giving an explanation on how he feel in Los Angeles with the award show in town, he compared it to religion.
“Sorry about all my anti-#Oscars rants. It just gets shoved down your throat here in LA. I feel like the only Jew in Christmas Land,” jotted down Drew Carey.
Unfortunately it seems that Drew Carey felt it was more important to bash the premise of the Oscars than he was to just leave town and enjoy the weekend. Or maybe he was jealous there wasn’t a category for his job on The Price Is Right.
