It took some doing to find the below YouTube video of Drew Brees saying "God is great" as he spoke after the Saints' Super Bowl win Sunday night -- but thank the Maker that somebody put it up.
Please let somebody call on the name of God or Jesus, this Christian TV Examiner begged silently after watching all the revelry.
Especially after "SMH" at the different New Orleans Saints' players who touched, fondled, and licked -- did they actually lick that thing? -- the trophy making its way to the platform.
"It's amazing how excited people get over things that don't matter," the journalist said.
"Let them have their victory," the self-same journalist's husband said.
"I give the same crap to people who get to excited over the Oscars," she retorted.
But then came Christian Drew Brees...
...with his impossibly cute baby boy, and his birthmarked cheek invoking the name of God in the midst of the celebration.
And being vocal in the first video below about accepting Christ into his heart at the age of 17 -- he even remembered the exact date.
"I didn't fully truly get it or accept it," Brees said in this video about being in church one day when the light went off as his pastor told him God is looking for a few good men:
