
34 year old actress Drew Barrymore is one celebrity that has her head on straight when it comes to diet and exercise. An article posted on monster and critics quotes the shapely actress as saying, “My top beauty and fitness tip is to eat whatever you want in smaller increments but don’t starve yourself to societal pressures. And I love to exercise because it makes me feel good about myself.”
This is great advice from the star of 'Grey Gardens' and 'He's not all that into you'. It's refreshing to hear that a celebrity can maintain her figure and stay fit with lifestyle changes and not crazy fad diets. There is hope for the rest of us.
Barrymore added this comment to her fitness tip,"...If more people followed this simple advice, we wouldn’t have so many body issue problems with 10 year olds starving themselves to the point they start growing monkey hair on their elbows and getting bloody noses. Plus, guys don’t like super skinny women - they feel like they’re going to break in half when you hug them, and who wants that? Messy messy!"
Drew is determined to stay sexy, healthy and fit through healthy eating and exercise. Unlike other actresses that have gone overboard with extreme measures to lose weight too fast. Before filming 'Dreamgirls', beautiful Beyonce Knowles followed what is known as the maple syrup, or lemonade diet to lose 21 lbs in two weeks from her shapely, sexy bod. Actresses Sarah Michelle Gellar and Liz Hurley adopted the cabbage soup diet, eating only cabbage soup for a week to lose unwanted pounds. Yuck!
Barrymore has the right formula to succeed with fitness and weight loss. Eat a balanced, healthy diet, limit portions, don't deprive yourself and get plenty of exercise. A lead we all should follow.

Seriously? Have you seen how thin Drew Barrymore is lately? I just saw Whip It, and she's scary thin. I've read that she was just really stressed out filming Grey Gardens, but I worry when I see someone lose that much weight.
