Drew Barrymore loves being a mother and is totally smitten with her baby girl, Olive. According to a Jan. 21 US Weekly report, Drew carries a photo around of Olive dressed as a lobster and looks at it frequently throughout the day.
The photo was taken at Halloween when Olive was just a month old. The sweet baby is dressed in a giant red lobster costume while momma Drew is smiling joyfully next to her.
Barrymore told Oprah Winfey that she doesn’t know where she got her strong desire to be a good parent because her parents didn’t seem to have it. However, Drew said that makes her even more determined to be a great mom.
Drew described parenting as “having the worst crush of your life.” Barrymore can’t wait to get home to see Olive each day and finds waking her up each morning to be a treat, even though she was never a morning person before becoming a parent.
Will Kopelman and Drew Barrymore welcomed Olive to the world last September. Olive is clearly adored by both Barrymore and Kopelman.
