Earlier this week, the Miss America title was given to Mallory Hagan of New York. Hagan began the competition to help her pay for her tuition at the Fashion Institute, where she was studying Advertising and Marketing. She plans to become a Global Marketing Director in the future.
Mallory's outfits of 2012 were on par with current trends of that time, including everything from sequin tanks to neon sneakers (see photo!). Her other style choices included floral silk tops, simple one-color dresses (mostly bodycon-like), a grey tweed peacoat, a beige blazer and, of course, lots of beautifully fancy dresses for the competition!
