Dress for Success and the rest of the weekend

Thursday night brought cool ocean breezes after a hot muggy day on South Beach. The night was perfect for a benefit to support Dress For Success which places some of the hardest to serve demographics back into the work force. The benefit was held on Lincoln Road at Brilliance New York with ten percent of the sales going to DFS. If you would like to get involved even though you missed this event you are encouraged to investigate their website for more upcoming events. It was great to see Brilliance New York supporting such a needed non-profit in our local community.

Overnight we are only calling for a twenty percent chance of showers and have in fact had some small passing showers already.

Friday looks to be another day like Thursday, although windier so be careful in the surf as rip current watches are expected to be posted. Twenty mile an hour winds are expected, but next to no chance of a shower. As the night progresses expect to be enjoying seventy-four degree temperatures.

Saturday is going to be in the eighties during the day and high seventies at night, although there should be less wind blowing the sand on the beach. Might be an excellent day for a sunset walk on the beach as Sunday is going to be ten degrees cooler and a possibility the winds might make a return. The end of our weekend is going to be the best day for shopping on Lincoln Road. Sunday night the low will be in the middle sixties. It would be good for the locals to go out with their sweaters or jackets Sunday evening.
