Central Ohio is north of a warm frontal boundary on this Monday which means cold and wet weather! Clouds and showers have kept temperatures down below 50 through much of the morning hours. As we head into the afternoon, a few peaks of sun should boost the thermometer into the upper 50s. All in all, a fairly cool day is expected.
Scattered showers will taper off through the afternoon with only an isolated shower or two expected to be left by this evening. We will see dry weather and lows in the upper 40s for tonight. On your Tuesday, a mix of sun and clouds will help get the temperature up into the 60s. A shower or storm will be possible towards the evening hours as the warm front begins to lift north back through the region.
With the warm front north of us Wednesday, it will really begin to feel like summer once again! We may start out with a stray storm early in the morning but that will give way to sunny skies for the rest of the day. Highs will soar into the lower 80s Wednesday and possibly even upper 80s on Thursday!
A storm system will spin up severe weather on Thursday across much of the Plains. This action will head east on Friday in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms for us in Ohio. Severe weather cannot be ruled out both Friday and Saturday, so stay tuned to the forecast.
