Dream with 'Disney On Ice: Dare to Dream' at San Jose's HP Pavilion Feb. 20 (Photos)

From Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen who are trying to break out of their “frog spell” to turn back into humans to their meeting with Cinderella (who is always looking for her true love) to their meeting with Rapunzel, who has just left the only home she’s ever known (her tower deep in the woods) in her quest to see the floating lanterns – all of the Disney Princesses coming together for the first time on ice during the finale to welcome Rapunzel into their royal court in the ultimate princess experience.

A unique story in each, “Tangled,” “The Princess and the Frog” and “Cinderella” with each speaking to men and women of all ages all over the globe – with this particular event speaking to Bay Area women at the HP Pavilion in San Jose beginning February 20 for a spectacular event folks won’t want to miss – with Bay Area boys who can’t wait to get in as well (knowing there’s some secrets to be revealed that they won’t want to miss).

What makes this production so special and spectacular is not just the story being told, the cast, music but the incorporation of everything – including blended movements that reflect every change eloquently from the opening song to last (choreography by Cindy Stuart); to the incredible costumes (Ivan Ingermann) with materials not normally expected that are not only durable but glamorous, incorporated with unusual fabrics and silhouettes.

With colorful scenes and beautiful dreamy songs such as “So This is Love” to “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” – even the various shades of purple world in Flynn Rider and Rapunzel’s world amazes audiences – illuminating skies and audiences as it highlights the story of Rapunzel, and dreams a heart makes. Disney On Ice is creating memorable moments, bringing families together and telling great stories – something Disney has done for years and something families have adored and appreciated just as long.

All ages will adore these incredible fairy tale stories and scenes as they are played out scenes by scene, played out by the wish our hearts make, one dream at a time – as if little flashes or photos throughout life put on a stage before the audience for all to reminisce and enjoy – adding to traditions of old and new. Indeed a production folks will not want to miss whether seeing with children as a family, with friends or with a group to reminisce. What ever you do just remember, it’s the perfect opportunity to open a door to talk to your child about how they might be feeling about what's in their heart...just have a great time either way. This is definitely one of those heart-hug-with-your-family kind of moments, and then some.

Adding to this incredible evening is a dreamy cast of very talented performers, with Vicky Black, James Black, Jonny Harris, Joseph Jacobsen, Theron James, Kendra Moyle, Jonathan Nuss, Soniah Spence, Deryck Sztkowiski and Moriah Tabon – all who not only add their own unique talents but who as a company add an amazing show of talents that will amaze any age, adding their own sparkle and dazzle – and what producer Feld said will "light much more than just the stage." (I wonder what he meant by that?) And since I can't give it all away, you'll just have to go and see for yourself so I hope to see you all there.
