Dream Lightweight Champion Shinya Aoki successfully defended his title against Tatsuya "The Crusher" Kawajiri in the main event of the Dream 15 fight card at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan July 10.

Being a well-known attention hog, Aoki then took the opportunity to propose to his girlfriend live on TV while fans were floored by this whole new side of the usually mean-spirited fighter (he broke Mizuto Hirota's arm at Dynamite! 2009 and then flipped off the audience while cussing out his injured opponent).

That was an awesome event. Great fights, upsets, worth the whole night up for sure!

Simple rule of submissions: Learn to tap, or learn how to work with a cast on. So Hirota brought that on himself. And he didn't propose to his girlfriend on stage, he announced the wedding, bit of a difference there.
