'Draw Something 2' announced

Ryan Seacrest revealed that there will be a sequel to the mobile-app hit “Draw Something,” writes Martin Gaston for Gamespot on March 19.

The announcement via the television personality’s Twitter account. “I somehow convinced them to give me #DrawSomething2 first…this may be the best Mariah & Randy have ever looked,” he commented, attaching his picture of Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson (seen above), both "American Idol" hosts.

A little later, Dan Porter, CEO of OMGPOP, confirmed via his own Twitter that the game was in the works by releasing the game’s logo. This sequel will offer “new ways to draw & connect,” as Porter says, with new color palettes and new additions to the gameplay.

No release date has been mentioned for the title.

Ryan Seacrest, in other related news, has been set up to be the host of the “Draw Something” US game show adaptation. Now it seems right that, as a fan, he announced the sequel and “was given” the game first.
